John Woodnutt, entrepreneur and inventor of electronic lighting control technology, has been awarded an MBE for services to Business and Entrepreneurship in the 2023 New Year Honours list. John pioneered lighting controls in the late 1950s and the Honour recognises his unique innovations in lighting controls and his six decades of commitment to creating smart, sustainable building solutions.

Copenhagen Business School has a comprehensive approach to sustainability, integrating it into all aspects of their operations, research, and education as well as initiatives to make the campus more sustainable.
The Delmatic IP DALI-2 solution selected for the new site optimises energy efficiency through presence, absence and daylight-related control of lighting as well as smart BACnet/IP integration with the HVAC network. The system was delivered and deployed by local system integrator using Delmatic’s Lightscape GUI enabling remote management and monitoring from across the school estate.
