Delmatic’s advanced DALI systems control and monitor normal and emergency lighting throughout the 1.3 acre Hanover development, comprising 18 Hanover Square – a new office building above the Elizabeth line’s new Bond Street station, 20 Hanover Square – a refurbished Grade II* listed Georgian townhouse, 1 Medici Courtyard – a new office building located adjacent to New Bond Street together with flagship retail space along New Bond Street and 14 Brook Street – a new residential block comprising 6 apartments.
Absolute versatility and flexibility
Delmatic’s DALI Buswire modules, utilised throughout shell-and-core areas, communal residential, commercial offices and public spaces, individually address and monitor every luminaire to provide absolute versatility and flexibility in operation and control. The modular systems extend seamlessly with Cat-A office fit-out to deliver an individual and customisable controls solution to suit tenants’ unique space planning and lighting requirements.
Smart sensors optimise sustainability and energy-efficiency to achieve BREEAM ‘Excellent’
DALI multisensors, presence detectors and external daylight sensors applied across the site optimise sustainability and energy-efficiency to support the achievement of a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating at 18 Hanover Square and 1 Medici Courtyard and BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating at 20 Hanover Square. The smart sensors dynamically adjust lighting in response to presence, absence and daylight to deliver energy savings as well as enhance the comfort and safety of occupants. DALI scene-set panels empower occupants with selection and adjustment of lighting scenes while seamless integration with the sesame™, Great Portland Estates’ award winning smart workplace app, enables individual user control of lighting levels.
Enhanced emergency monitoring
Advanced graphical interfaces and enhanced emergency monitoring software provide powerful management and visibility of the entire lighting network including the real-time operational status of every normal and emergency lamp, driver and emergency battery, eliminating the need for manual inspections of luminaires and ensuring they are replaced at the optimum point.
Seamless integration and strategic data sharing
The system operates across the building IP network and seamlessly integrates over BACnet/IP with the site-wide BMS, sharing strategic data to optimise sustainability and operational efficiency.
The Hanover development incorporates workspace forming part of the Over Station Development at the Elizabeth line’s new Bond Street station. Lighting within Bond Street station is also controlled by Delmatic DALI systems as part of a network of Crossrail and London Underground stations managed and monitored by Delmatic smart systems.
