John Woodnutt, entrepreneur and inventor of electronic lighting control technology, has been awarded an MBE for services to Business and Entrepreneurship in the 2023 New Year Honours list. The site-wide DALI solution optimises efficiency across the 10 buildings in what is an energy-hungry estate with comprehensive DALI occupancy and daylight sensing implemented to maximise energy efficiency across the project.
DALI Broadcast modules have been selected in the main data halls, providing group DALI dimming control without the need to individually address each DALI driver. IP DALI Buswire 6 control modules were applied in the workspaces and subsidiary buildings, sitting on the site-wide data network, allowing for full management and monitoring at the facilities management office in the main data centre.
The Delmatic system integrates with the BMS PC via BACnet/IP, sharing key real-time occupancy data to further increase the efficiency across the estate.
