The King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh comprises numerous commercial, residential and hotel buildings and is similar in scale to London’s Canary Wharf. The entire development has been built with environmental sustainability in mind with solar cells on roofs and integrated into the facades and skywalks between buildings to reduce the need for cars.
Delmatic systems are being installed within more than thirty of the buildings
Delmatic systems are being installed within more than thirty of the buildings on the project to provide intelligent, energy-efficient control of lighting through a combination of presence detection and daylight-linking. The complete system operation is centrally monitored and managed through graphical head end software.
Delmatic are also equipping specific headquarters buildings within the financial district including Samba Bank and Tadawul Tower while, across town in the Diplomatic Quarter, Delmatic systems are installed in the new ARABSAT headquarters and the Institute of Diplomatic Studies for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
