John Woodnutt, entrepreneur and inventor of electronic lighting control technology, has been awarded an MBE for services to Business and Entrepreneurship in the 2023 New Year Honours list. The 30,000 sq.m office building was designed, procured and constructed in just over 24 months – one of the fastest development schedules in recent city history.
The high-specification Delmatic dimming system provides energy-efficient presence detector and daylight-linked control of lighting throughout the tenanted office spaces with full graphical management and monitoring of the lighting installation from a network PC. For speed of installation the system provides full plug-in connectivity with incoming lighting supply, the switched and dimmed outputs to the luminaires, as well as the presence detectors and multisensors all connecting to powerful Plug-in modules.
The modular system architecture allows individual tenants to customise the system operation within their domain as well as to “plug-in” enhanced features such as web-browser switching and dimming, IP phone and App control, and integrated scene-setting with comprehensive AV integration.
